Ben: Over in Waynesville, the town is developing a brand new pedestrian plan to make its growing community safer and much more walkable.
Maggie: And speaking of local spots, Asheville's food scene keeps growing. A new all-you-can-eat sushi spot has opened up, and Highland Brewing has some Cold Mountain-related news.
Ben: Also, a local breast cancer survivor is sharing her story during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to encourage women to get screened early.
Maggie: That's such an important reminder.
Ben: Now for a quick round of microdoses from around the mountains.
Maggie: Swannanoa is getting one point seven six million dollars in grants to bring new sidewalks to the community.
